The Knoxville Rowing Association extends to your organization a cordial invitation to join the competition and fun of Tennessee's original head regatta. The Head of the Tennessee Regatta will run at Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, Tennessee for 2008. This is a current controlled reservoir in the foothills of the Cumberland Mountains. There are 10 miles of water upstream and 26 miles downstream suitable for rowing. The lake is about 10 rowing lanes wide and runs through farm country for most of its distance.

The 2008 Head of the Tennessee is set for Saturday, October 25th, 2008. All registration will be handled through RegattaCentral.
